…only this time I’m not going to go getting it blown up on a mission my first time out. It was affordable enough, and now I just need to to come up with a good loadout. I’ve been searching, but not finding a lot of good options. Any ideas are most welcome.
The reason I bought the Dommie is because…well, why not? I can afford it and having a fully-fit Dominix handy can’t hurt. Plus, I’ll be able to use more drones and that’s always a good thing.
So, right now, that’s what I’m doing: Trying to come up with a Dommie setup I’m happy with. Once I do, it’ll be time to buy all the parts, put them together, and get back down to business.

It's a great ship, I love it!
There are basically a couple of choices you can go with. (I stole these from Battleclinic, but they are pretty much what I used to use). Sentry drones really are the way to go with a Domi imo.
1. Sentry Domi - excellent dps if you're confident with the missions:

You could also try a mix between the two. Say, have just 1 sentry drone rigs, and the other cap rigs. And just 1 rep. If you can afford Faction reps it makes a huge difference too.

That's what I love about the EVE community, and especially the my readers. I ask for something like this and there's always someone with the answer.
Thanks Laedy! I think I'm going to go with the tank setup, at least for now. In at least the immediate future I'm going to be using it for dealing with all the rat hideouts and such I find when exploring and that'll probably be 90% dealt with by drones.
I'll be getting started on that project later today, and of course, I'll be blogging about it.
